Ishan Kishan was part of the ODI World Cup team last year that took place in India, but didn’t feature in any of the matches. Following that he abruptly left the Indian Test team in South Africa, citing fatigue. He then missed India domestic cricket going against Indian cricket board’s order. Ishan also had a poor IPL 2024 where he managed only 324 runs in 14 games and was then ignored for the T20 World Cup in the Americas which India won.
