Washoe County joins the growing list of states implementing ‘Phone Away & Learn Today’ policies for US schools

Starting today, the Washoe County School District launches the “Phone Away & Learn Today” policy to minimize smartphone distractions during class. This initiative is part of a nationwide effort to improve student focus, mental health, and academic performance. The policy is aligned with similar state-level restrictions across the U.S., such as those in Florida, Virginia, and Indiana.
