Verdict Awaited: Delhi High Court’s Decision on St. Stephen’s College Admissions and Single Girl Child Quota

Date:

The Delhi High Court will deliver its verdict on Friday regarding a petition by six students seeking admission to Delhi University’s St. Stephen’s College. The students, allocated seats in BA Economics (Hons) and BA Programme courses, claim their admissions were delayed despite meeting all requirements. The university supports the petition, but the college opposes it, arguing that admitting students under the ‘single girl child quota’ violates equality. The court’s decision will be announced at 2:30 pm.
