Venkatesh Iyer, the versatile Indian cricketer, has secured a contract with Lancashire, a prominent English county club. He will participate in the One-Day Cup tournament and feature in two matches of the County Championship. Iyer’s first appearance for Lancashire is slated for July 28, when they face Kent.
