Uttarakhand Madrasas Plan to Offer Sanskrit, Aiming to Integrate Mainstream Education

The Uttarakhand Madrasa Board is planning to offer Sanskrit as an optional subject in over 400 madrasas across the state, aligning with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s goal of integrating madrasa students into mainstream education. Board chairman Mufti Shamoon Qasmi highlighted the success of introducing the NCERT syllabus and believes learning Sanskrit alongside Arabic could benefit students academically.
