Tripura schools shut for an indefinite period amid severe weather crisis

The Tripura government has extended the closure of all educational institutions indefinitely due to severe weather, including heavy rainfall, flooding, and landslides. Chief Minister Manik Saha requested additional NDRF teams from Union Home Minister Amit Shah to bolster relief efforts. Currently, 183 relief camps are sheltering over 5,600 families across the state.
