Smart Cities Mission boosts school enrollment by 22%, says IIM-Bangalore Study

The Smart Cities Mission has boosted school enrollment by 22% in 19 cities and improved crime monitoring, according to IIM Bangalore studies. The initiative has led to the installation of 59,802 CCTV cameras and emergency call boxes, enhancing safety, especially for women. It also developed smart classrooms, digital libraries, and improved policing through real-time surveillance.
