Schools shut, exams postponed until Tuesday due to rain-triggered crisis in Nepal

In response to a rain-induced disaster, Nepal’s government has postponed all ongoing exams and closed schools nationwide until Tuesday. The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology announced this decision after an emergency cabinet meeting. Local authorities will determine when classes can resume based on damage assessments. Sixty-six people have died in the past 24 hours.
