Due to rising pollution levels, schools in Rajasthan’s Khairthal-Tijara district were closed from November 20 to 23. The closure, affecting students from classes 1 to 5, was prompted by hazardous air quality, with an AQI of 380 recorded in Bhiwadi. Pollution levels also reached dangerous thresholds in 26 districts, while efforts like water sprinkling and smog guns were introduced to control dust.
