Sainik Schools Lead the Way for Women in the Armed Forces with Growing Female Enrollment: 353 Girls Enrolled in 2024

353 girls enrolled in 33 Sainik Schools this year, with 16 schools at full female capacity. Sainik School Tilaiya leads with 16 girl students. All Sainik Schools are now co-ed to promote gender equality and women in the armed forces. One all-girls Sainik School has been approved, and 36 new co-ed Sainik Schools are operational.
