Oscar-nominated actress Gena Rowlands, known to audiences for her performance in “The Notebook” and her collaborations with her late husband, director John Cassavetes, died Wednesday at the age of 94. On Thursday, longtime “Hollywood Squares” host Peter Marshall died at the age of 98. Marshall was also an acclaimed actor, singer and comedian.
