Ohio State University reinstates ACT/SAT requirement for admissions

Date:

Ohio State University will reinstate the ACT/SAT requirement for first-year applicants to its Columbus campus starting in the 2026 admissions cycle. While test scores will be considered, admissions will remain holistic. The decision follows data showing students who submitted scores had higher GPAs and academic success.
