Odisha launches PM-USHA programme to strengthen higher education landscape in the state

The Odisha government has introduced the Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (PM-USHA) with the Union Education Ministry’s support. The program, with a budget of Rs 500 crore, aims to enhance higher education institutions’ infrastructure and development in Odisha. It aligns with the National Education Policy, 2020, to promote access, equity, and excellence in higher education.
