The Ministry of Education has extended the application deadline for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) 2024-25 to September 30, providing an additional opportunity for economically disadvantaged students to apply. The NMMSS offers scholarships to meritorious students of Class 8 with family incomes below Rs 3.5 lakh. The selection process includes a Mental Ability Test (MAT) and a Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Eligible students can apply online via the National Scholarship Portal.
