New e-visas introduced for international students pursuing higher education in India

India’s Ministry of Home Affairs has introduced two new visa categories, ‘e-student visa’ and ‘e-student-x visa,’ for international students. Applicants must use the ‘Study in India’ portal for visa processes. These visas cater to eligible foreign students and their dependents wishing to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD, or certification courses in India.
