New AICTE Electrical Engineering Curriculum Focuses on Industry Relevance and Innovation

The AICTE has launched a new model curriculum for undergraduate Electrical Engineering courses, designed to align with global standards and industry needs. Spearheaded by Prof. T.G. Sitharam, the curriculum focuses on practical, hands-on training, industry exposure, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and renewable energy. It aims to equip students with critical thinking, ethical leadership, and entrepreneurial skills, ensuring they are prepared for real-world challenges and future leadership roles in the electrical engineering sector.
