Nagaland to Implement NEP 2020 in Schools Starting Next Academic Year

The Nagaland State Level Education Committee has decided to implement the National Education Policy 2020 from the next academic year. Key measures include restructuring school levels, mandatory permissions for private schools, and significant changes to government school statuses. The SLEC also plans to establish a State School Standards Authority and has approved various school closures, upgrades, and teacher redeployments.
