Madras High Court rules transfer certificate of students should not be used for fee collection

The Madras High Court has ruled that a student’s Transfer Certificate should not be used by schools to collect pending fees. The Court emphasized that the TC is a personal document issued in the child’s name and should not include any entries regarding fee arrears.
