An Indian man died after a migrant boat deflated while attempting to cross the English Channel from France. The 40-year-old succumbed to cardiac arrest despite resuscitation efforts. This incident adds to a deadly year for channel crossings, with 56 migrant deaths recorded so far in 2023.
