In UK, 7 convicted of violence in last year’s Derby kabaddi tourney disorder

Two men were convicted of violent disorder and one of possessing a gun during a kabaddi tournament in Derby last summer. Police intervened after reports of shots fired and machete fights. Five others had already pleaded guilty to various offenses. All will be sentenced later. The event had hundreds attending, with many injured.
