Guwahati schools to remain shut for four days till Sept 27 due to heatwave

Due to excessive heat, all government, provincialised, and private schools in Assam’s Kamrup (Metro) district will be closed from September 24 to September 27. The decision follows reports of student ill-health and fainting caused by high temperatures. This measure aims to ensure the health and well-being of students amid ongoing heatwave conditions.
