The BCCI has decided that senior Indian cricket players must participate in the Duleep Trophy, starting on September 5 in Andhra Pradesh and Bengaluru. Supported by former chief selector Chetan Sharma, the tournament will feature four teams and overlap with the home Test series against Bangladesh, leading to player replacements for those selected for the Test series.
