Grap 3 reintroduced in Delhi NCR: What it means for schools

Date:

Delhi-NCR has reimposed GRAP-3 (Graded Response Action Plan) to tackle rising pollution levels, with AQI reaching 345 on December 16, 2024. Schools have switched to a hybrid model for students up to Class V, allowing parents to choose between in-person or online classes. Additional restrictions include bans on diesel cargo vehicles, construction activities, and excavation work. The decision to activate GRAP-3 at AQI 350 was influenced by Supreme Court recommendations to curb health risks from worsening air quality.
