Federal Judge Upholds Trump-Era Policy on Immigration Arrests at Schools

A federal judge ruled that immigration authorities don’t need to reinstate a Biden-era policy limiting arrests at schools, rejecting Denver Public Schools’ challenge to Trump administration policies. The judge said fears over enforcement were overstated. Denver schools claimed student anxiety and resource diversion. ICE data showed only two school arrests between 2018-2020, per AP reports.
