Explained: CBSE Two-Tier Difficulty Level for Science, Social Science Exams

CBSE will implement a two-tier difficulty level for Science and Social Science in Classes 9 and 10, starting from 2025-26 and 2027-28, respectively. This initiative, aligned with NEP 2020, aims to reduce academic pressure and enhance flexibility. Students can choose between standard and basic levels, ensuring personalized learning. The Board also plans reforms to minimize reliance on rote memorization and coaching.
