Ex-bank manager sentenced to 13 months for stealing $200K from customer’s account

James Gomes, a former bank manager in New York, was sentenced to 13 months in prison for stealing over $200,000 from a customer’s account. Gomes used his position to transfer funds to his personal accounts and even continued the scheme after the customer’s death. He will also serve three years of supervised release and must repay the stolen money.
