DNC to virtually nominate Harris, running mate by Aug. 7

The Democratic National Committee says it will hold a “virtual roll call” by Aug. 7 to select its nominees for president and vice president. The process could make it difficult for anyone to challenge the current vice president and presumptive Democratic nominee, Kamala Harris.
