LOT Polish Airlines did not have any wheelchair on board as it’s not their policy. BBC war correspondent Frank Gardner who is paralyzed had to crawl on his back to the washroom because of this policy. He posted his photo on X triggering a debate on how inhumane the airline policy is. Gardner, however, said the cabin crew were very helpful and apologetic.
