Delhi LG Proposes Raising Income Limit to Rs 5 Lakh for EWS Students in Private Schools

Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has recommended the AAP government to increase the income limit for EWS admissions in private schools from ₹1 lakh to ₹5 lakh. He cited vacant seats and higher minimum wages as reasons, emphasizing that the current limit doesn’t reflect the economic realities of vulnerable families.
