Delhi extends contracts for 2,400 Samagra Shiksha teachers to meet school staffing needs

The Directorate of Education has extended the contracts of upper primary and elementary teachers under Samagra Shiksha-Delhi until March 2026, addressing the Pupil-Teacher Ratio in government schools. The order covers 2,498 teachers for schools under DoE, SOSE, and MCD. Teachers with poor records will not be re-engaged without approval, and priority will be given based on student enrollment requirements.
