The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) in India has introduced new guidelines to curb misleading advertisements by coaching centers. These guidelines prohibit false promises like guaranteed job placements or 100% selection rates. Coaching centers are now required to provide accurate information about their courses, faculty, and fees, and must obtain consent before using testimonials.
