CBSE cracks down on ‘Dummy Schools,’ students not attending regular schools can’t sit for class 12 exams

CBSE has announced that students not attending regular schools will be barred from appearing in Class 12 board exams. This aims to counter the rise of ‘dummy schools’ where students skip classes to focus on engineering and medical entrance exams. The decision will be effective from the 2025-2026 academic session.
