CA defends selective boycott of Afghanistan amid ICC criticism

Cricket Australia (CA) is facing criticism for its selective boycott of Afghanistan cricket matches. While CA refuses bilateral series due to the Taliban’s suppression of women’s sports, they continue playing Afghanistan in major tournaments. ICC chairman Greg Barclay called CA’s stance inconsistent, arguing that taking a principled stand means boycotting all matches.
