British Sikhs warn against new definition of Islamophobia

British Sikhs are challenging a new Islamophobia definition that they argue misrepresents history and curtails free speech. The Network of Sikh Organisations contends it hinders discussions about Sikh martyrs who resisted Mughal emperors. This contested definition, already adopted by the Labour party, may affect future race equality legislation and historical discourse.
