Shardul Thakur was roped in by Lucknow Super Giants as a replacement for Mohsin Khan in the IPL 2025, and he delivered with a match-winning 4 for 34 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Nicholas Pooran led the run-chase with 70 runs off 26 balls. Thakur called for more balanced pitches favoring both bowlers and batters.
