BCCI objects to Pak demand, Champions Trophy deadlock continues

The BCCI has opposed PCB’s conditional agreement to a hybrid model for the upcoming Champions Trophy, causing fresh deadlock. While Pakistan allowed India to play at a neutral venue, they demanded to not play in India in future tournaments. BCCI rejected this citing no security threat in India. Discussions for an amicable solution are ongoing.
