Assam Government to Boost Digital Classes to Reduce School Dropout Rates

Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu announced on Thursday that the state government will promote digital classes alongside physical teaching to reduce school dropout rates. Schools reopened after a month-long summer vacation, and Pegu, interacting virtually with 7,779 teachers, emphasized the use of the Education Department’s digital attendance system. He highlighted the state’s investment in smart classrooms and seamless internet connectivity, aiming to enhance digital education and improve student attendance.
