Allahabad High Court Overturns Uttar Pradesh’s Discriminatory Teacher Transfer Policy

Date:

The court ruled the policy “arbitrary and discriminatory,” noting it unfairly targeted junior teachers while exempting senior ones. The ruling came after several petitions challenged provisions that violated the Right to Education Act and equality rights.
