Karnataka deputy CM opposes bandh, Kannada Okkuta’s protest could affect lakhs of SSLC students

Karnataka Deputy CM D K Shivakumar stated that the government would not support the statewide bandh called by pro-Kannada organisations on March 22. The bandh, which protests an alleged assault in Belagavi, could impact SSLC exams and a planned water conservation campaign. Shivakumar emphasized the need for dialogue and adherence to the law instead.
