Nearly seven decades after taking his grade 7 piano exam, Ray Eveleigh, an 88-year-old retired reverend from Kilham, East Yorkshire, has successfully passed grade 8 with distinction. It took him about six months of work and lessons over zoom with his teacher. Ray was encouraged by his family and driven by his love for music.
