Fastest deliveries: Revisiting records after Siraj’s 181.6 kph glitch

During the India-Australia pink-ball Test, a technical glitch falsely recorded Mohammed Siraj’s delivery at 181.6 km/h. This sparked renewed interest in cricket’s fastest bowlers. Shoaib Akhtar still holds the record at 161.3 km/h, followed by Brett Lee and Shaun Tait. Jeff Thomson and Mitchell Starc also achieved speeds exceeding 160 km/h.
