Kerala Identifies 827 Unrecognised Schools, Plans Action to Ensure Equitable Education

Kerala’s General Education Minister V. Sivankutty revealed the survey identifying 827 unrecognised schools. Further action will be taken after a chief minister-led meeting. The minister emphasized safeguarding students’ physical and mental well-being, banning financial discrimination, and regulating school trips and celebrations to ensure inclusivity. A report on these measures is expected within a week.
