Karnataka to ‘Adopt’ 100 Engineering Colleges with Corporates to Enhance Student Employability: IT Minister Kharge

Karnataka’s IT Minister, Priyank Kharge, announced transformative initiatives to enhance employability and innovation. By 2025, 100 engineering colleges will collaborate with corporates for student training. Under the ‘Nipuna Karnataka’ programme, 1 lakh trainees will be skilled in a year. The Bengaluru Tech Summit 2024 witnessed MoUs with DRDO, Finland, and Switzerland, alongside launching Karnataka’s first Startup Awards for innovation excellence.
