Sarfaraz Khan’s maiden Test century on day four of the first Test against New Zealand in Bengaluru propelled India to narrow the visitors’ lead to under 100 runs. Sarfaraz, who is playing beause of an injury to Shubman Gill, scored a 110-ball century, featuring 13 fours and 3 sixes. With India starting the day 125 runs behind, his efforts significantly boosted India’s score.
